Today the Hummingbirds Took Flight
Today, it happened.
Where the Hummingbirds Landed: The Sea Knew My Name is officially published and showing up on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and several other sites. I have already heard from people who have ordered their copies, and I honestly do not have the words to fully describe how that feels. I am teary-eyed.
This book began as pieces of my life, some beautiful, some painful, and some I was not sure I would ever be brave enough to share. It has taken a great deal of reflection, healing, courage, and faith to bring these pages into the world. To see my story listed as a published book, and to know that people are choosing to read it, is both humbling and overwhelming. What an incredible honor this has been.
My hope is that somewhere within these pages, another person will feel seen, understood, or reminded that healing does not always happen in a straight line. Sometimes it comes in fragments, full circles, and small moments of beauty that arrive when we least expect them.
Today, the hummingbirds have officially taken flight. I am deeply grateful to everyone who encouraged me, supported me, and believed in this story. And to those who have already ordered a copy, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I can finally say it: I am a published author.
And please stay tuned for a very special box-opening post when my books arrive. I cannot wait to hold one in my hands for the very first time!
